Below is a copy of my email to my federal Member of Parliament. I'll always love Australia but our support for US foreign policy needs to end yesterday.

I hope this email finds you well.

I live in the CIty of Playford. I've voted Labor in every state/federal election since 1998. This is the 1st time in my life I am contacting my member of parliament. I understand the immense pressure the Australian government must face in regards to foreign policy (esp. regarding US international policy).

But our PM endorsing this war is just beyond acceptable. These new hate speech laws on the behest of keeping less than 0.5% of our national population safe from people rightly calling out the horrors of the Israeli government is already a massive amount of bullshit.

Australia coming out in support of this lie fueled garbage from the Trump and Bibi admins is beyond reproach.

The Australian Labor Party is historically one of the greatest political parties on the face of this planet. In regards to workers rights and rights for the common citizen over the interests of the wealthy and special interests, no other party in this country and the world is as good as Labor as has been.

But enough is enough with blindly following the US with every failed foreign policy they have.

Has the Labor party learnt absolutely nothing from the failed and horror filled reality of the war on terror (Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, etc).

The Achilles heel (not anti-war in the slightest) of your (and my) Party needs to be rectified. And rectified quickly and loudly. No Australian soldier should be sent to their possible death in Iran on the behest of two international governments who couldn't care less for Australia and it's poeple.
