Below is a copy of my email to my federal Member of Parliament. I'll always love Australia but our support for US foreign policy needs to end yesterday.
I hope this email finds you well.
I live in the CIty of Playford. I've voted Labor in every state/federal election since 1998. This is the 1st time in my life I am contacting my member of parliament. I understand the immense pressure the Australian government must face in regards to foreign policy (esp. regarding US international policy).
But our PM endorsing this war is just beyond acceptable. These new hate speech laws on the behest of keeping less than 0.5% of our national population safe from people rightly calling out the horrors of the Israeli government is already a massive amount of bullshit.
Australia coming out in support of this lie fueled garbage from the Trump and Bibi admins is beyond reproach.
The Australian Labor Party is historically one of the greatest political parties on the face of this planet. In regards to workers rights...

Hi everyone,
Tonight at 8pm ET: Dissident Film Club with Write Brain TV kicks off with the 1973 Vietnam War film “Land of Sorrows.”
Filmed in 1971 and released in 1973, this South Vietnamese film directed by Hà Thúc Cần offers a perspective that is frequently missing from Western retrospectives of the era: the firsthand experience of Southern Vietnamese civilians caught in the crossfire of a devastating war.
In addition to its political perspective, the film is unique for featuring the only Cinemascope footage of Vietnam taken during this time.
We will be live at 8pm ET on YouTube and Rumble with a brief discussion on the film with Kevin Ronca from Write Brain TV. We will then host an interactive presentation of the film available exclusively for paid subscribers, followed by a talkback with call-in Q&A.
Information to access the full stream - the introduction plus the film presentation and Q&A - is listed below for paid subscribers:
