Hi everyone,
We’re live at 8pm ET for a special edition of our dissident film club.
We’re excited to present Hard Road of Hope, a documentary film by Eleanor Goldfield which connects the historical tradition of radical labor activism in the West Virginia coal mines to the state’s modern day struggles against opioid addiction, corporate plundering, and resource colonization.
Released in 2020, the film received multiple awards at numerous film festivals around the world. Following the screening, we will be hosting a talkback with director Eleanor Goldfield where she will field our questions as well as questions from the chat!
